Let Children have Fun

Let your children explore new things, let them have fun and be muddy, dirty and play in rain puddles.
Allow them to jump on pile of leaves, fly a kite and dance around.
Don't rush them and expect them to grow up so fast.
Let them enjoy being carefree children as Long as possible.

You don't have to be pretty to be a bright beautiful person,
It doesn't matter what other people think, as long as you believe and have confident in yourself.
You can be a positive happy person, because you are Amazing!!!

Social Media Envy

Social media ( Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc) is a platform where we share information with friends, family and connect with other people.
But social media is becoming a platform for generating envy in a lot of people.
You scroll down on your newsfeed or timeline, and you see your friends with stylish clothes, weaves, shoes and other things you wish you have so you became so green with envy because your salary isn't enough for you to be buying those things when you are so tight on your budget, you see a friend's wedding photos and you feel soo envious that, you can't even type the word Congratulations!
Because you are at the same age and you don't even have a man in your life.
Hehehe...please you add nothing to your life by envying these people's good fortune, and their happiness really has nothing to do with you, and remember "All that glitters is not gold".

But don't believe everything you see, people lie on social media to make themselves feel and look good to the extent of borrowing stuffs to show off, what you don't know is, they never share the fight they had with their spouse right after the wedding, or the debt they are in with planning of the ceremony.
So next time you see a friend who is doing well in his/her life, don't be bitter, envious or feel sorry for yourself.
Hit the "like" button and join in their joy.  Because most people share the best parts of their lives with photoshopping and filters.

At the end of the day, we need to remember that everyone is struggling.
What you see on display looks perfect, but it's far from perfect.
Comparing only create pain and resentment, and comparison is a thief of joy.
We need to look to GOD who can only fill that void in our heart!

Nothing Last Forever

                                  Nothing last forever

Everytime it rains, it stops raining, Everytime you hurt, you heal, everytime you fall, you rise again.
After darkness, there's always light. Remember this every morning and don't forget to put God first.
Sometimes life closes doors because its time to move forward, and sometimes it's a good thing because often we won't move unless circumstances forces us to. When times get tough, remind yourself that no pain comes without a purpose. Move away from whoever or whatever that hurts you, but never forget the lesson it taught you.

So at this stage of your life, if things are good now, enjoy it to the fullest, live your life and be happy... It may not last forever, if things are bad, don't worry because it may not last forever either.
Just because you are going through hard times and struggling doesn't mean you can't laugh, just because something is bothering you, doesn't mean you can't smile, put your trust in God and he will do things beautifully in his time.

Remember, good things take time, stay patient and positive. Everything is going to come together perfectly, maybe not immediately but eventually, because there's always light at the end of the tunnel.

Stay Positive and thanks for reading,

The Five Finger Prayer For Children

'

Prayer is essential in our lives. Children learn what we teach them. Teaching prayer to children will help them to learn about their religion and also the importance of God in their life.
Many times we neglect to pray and only turn to God in prayer when we are in trouble or hurting.
We need to pray to God always and show our children the need for prayer in today's wicked world.

Here's how to do it:

1.The thumb is the closest finger to you: Pray for those who are close to you,our parents, siblings, extended family and friends.

2. The pointer finger is next: Pray for those who teach you, instruct you, and heal you. They need our prayers to help them to help others.

3.The tallest finger is next: Pray for our leaders and others in authority. Pray that God grant them guidance and give them Wisdom.

4.The Ring finger: It is the weakest finger, Pray for the poor and the sick, the hurt and the lonely people who are suffering among you.

5. The smallest / pinkie finger: Your smallest finger should remind you to pray for yourself. We gain perspective about our own needs when we put others first. And because Jesus taught us to be humble, we need to pray for ourselves last.

The five prayer would also be great to pray, when you are with an infant in your arms as you are feeding, bathing or playing with them.

"I'm too pretty for a dark skinned girl"

So I came across this post on Facebook  and I must say this is self hate at its finest.
At this age and time, what is wrong with the mind of some people? This so sad that you think you are pretty now, because you've lighten your skin.
No amount of bleaching creams and chemicals put together to lighten your skin colour can make you a white person, you are black and you have a black heritage, don't be deceived.
This girl should be ashamed that she's still living under the mental slavery.
